Parenting is a big job, a challenging job. Some say it's the most important job you will ever have! So we're here to help you get it right! At Morrinsville Community House we offer different options to help you overcome the challenges of parenting and help you build stronger, healthier and happier relationships with your children.
Parenting Information Packs
Have questions about parenting? Morrinsville Community House has available parenting information packs. These packs are completely FREE OF CHARGE. Simply visit us to pick up a pack.
They are the perfect way to get a wide range of information without feeling overwhelmed. Take the pack home, sit down with a cuppa and absorb the information at your own pace.
One-on-One Parenting Sessions
We offer private parenting sessions for you and your spouse/partner. Our parenting sessions focus on parent education to help parents/carers build better relationships with their children. Funding may be available to pay for your sessions depending on your individual circumstances - for example families affected by family violence, or when Oranga Tamariki (previously Child Youth and Family) have been involved.
Barnardos are funded to provide Parenting through Separation courses in our area. For more information click HERE.
